In the last essay, I talked about the A- and B-Theories of time. According to the A- or “tensed” theory of time, there’s an “ontologically privileged present moment.” According to the B- or “tenseless” theory, there isn’t one.

What does that mean?

Just that there is a particular point in time that objectively—i.e. independent of human consciousness—counts…
